How to connect to Instagram Business Account from Firework Platform

Requirements

1. A Facebook account
2. A Facebook Public page
3. Instagram Business account ‍

Configuration Steps

Step #1

Log in to your Facebook account. Navigate to your profile, then select the option to create a new profile or page. From there, choose the option for a Public Page.

Step #2

Create the page by adding the name and the category and then click on Meta Business Suite

Step #3

Click on Go to Instagram and link your Instagram account

This will show you a pop-up to enter Instagram credentials, and once you log in, you should see a success message.

Step #4

Next, click on the "Import from Instagram" option followed by the "Connect Account" button to link your Instagram account. You will be redirected to the Facebook login page, enter your credentials here. Once logged in, you will be then taken to your Instagram account.

When logging into the Facebook accounts, users are required to select at least one Instagram account that is linked to their Facebook profile. If users do not select an Instagram account or do not have one connected, they will receive a notification indicating that the Facebook page has not been properly linked to a professional Instagram account.

If you encounter this message, click on here this will open a dialog box. From there, select the "Continue as" option, then choose your Instagram account and the corresponding page. Once you've made your selections, click on "Done" to successfully link your accounts.
